Organization
UCP Inc. (Uniting Caribbean Coast People) was formed with the sole objective to help the needy in Nicaragua with focus specifically on the Caribbean coast.
MISSION:
UCP Inc. is continuously seeking ways and means to assist the communities on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. Historically, the people of the Caribbean coast have been marginalized by the central government. And though there are presently constructive efforts to link and amend the disparate social, economic, and political conditions between the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, the fruitless results are evidence of the lack of will and commitment to resolve this national dilemma. Thus, UCP Inc. sees itself as an important instrument to aid in the process of building the bridge, which could eventually reconcile the people and reflect the diversity of “One Nicaragua for all”.
UCP Inc. is resolute to serve the homeless, single parents, drug abusers, talented and handicap children, and the social, economic, political and illiterate disadvantaged indigenous population (Miskito, Sumos, Ramas, Garifunas, and Creoles) who desperately need help.
All proceeds to benefit UCP Inc. a non-profit, tax-exempt, section 501(c)(3) organization that is committed to improving the lives of people on the Caribbean of Nicaragua.
