20-USA-The Miss Lizzie Nelson's Scholarship Fund was founded by the
spouse of a member of Oneness Entertainment Group / UCP Inc. in honor of Miss Lizzie
Nelson. Miss Lizzie is the mother of culture in Bluefields and was also
the dance instructor of this individual. To honor Ms. Nelson, the
fund was created to benefit students from the Moravian secondary School
and hope to expand it to other schools in the near future. Though the 2005
school year has already started we will issue one scholarship to one lucky
student from the Moravian secondary school.
In
order to qualify for the scholarship the student must meet certain criteria
which will be identified by the Director of the school Rev. Alland Budier.
The qualified students must then submit a written
essay no less than 500 words on culture concerning the Caribbean coast of
Nicaragua. Each essay will be carefully looked at
and a decision will be made on the winner. All essays must be submitted no
later than March 30 in order to qualify. Essay must be sent as an
attachment to fund@bluefieldspulse.com
The
winner of the scholarship must maintain a satisfactory grade point average
and passing in all subject in order to continue to enjoy the
scholarship.
