Fatal Accident Claimed The Life Of A Young
Friend
Miami, Mar. 21-Ivan Forbes, a native of Bluefields, Nicaragua, was
involved in a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday night, March 17, 2002. Doctors
said that he suffered massive head injuries. Ivan, we were told, was not wearing
a helmet. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. Ivan was rushed to
a nearby hospital where he was put on life support. He died on March 20, 2002 at
6PM. Ivan was 30 years old. He left behind 6 Kids (3 Boys and 3 Girls).
Ivan was a very unique guy, always smiling, laughing, love the game of Baseball
and Basketball. Ivan grew up in the Barrio of Beholden and had lots of friends
from all over. Many of us here at bluefieldspulse grew up with Ivan. He
will be remembered. On Thursday nights in Miami a group of young friends from
Bluefields play Basketball, Ivan was one of them. He will be remembered by all
of his game buddies.
Ivan was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua, April 26, 1971 to Mr. Norton Forbes
and Ms. Melba Bravo.
