Cultural Togetherness
Bluefields, RAAS, Apr 27-Never seen before. The best cultural event put
together in our sweet home of Bluefields, Nicaragua. Today I'm proud to say am
from that land far,far away called Bluefields paradise of the world. I've seen
six people come together in unity, harmony and strength, six concern natives of Bluefields
to put on the best show performance on April 11, 2001.
I just want to congratulate my other five brothers and sisters for uniting our heart, mind
and soul to show the citizens of Bluefields that we are for real. We will not play
POLITRICS with our own people as Luke Dube said it best, "We are still licking wounds
from our own brothers" but never the less in spite of the hurdles we had to overcome,
our commitment and conviction stood strong and we delivered to our people just what we had
promised.
For you my brothers and sisters who missed this historical event because of confusion
created among you. I just want to say don't be discourage because there will be more of
this kind of cultural event that we SLC, Inc will be putting on for you the people and for
the benefit of our community. To our official band "Soul Vibration" I told
Raymond Myers I like Soul Vibration a little better it just has a sweeter ring to it than
Soul Vibes. He agreed with me. My deepest and sincere thanks to you guys, you
only had two days to rehearse together and you did a wonderful job Congratulation!
To our friend Danilo Bejarano in Managua thanks. We hope and pray that everything will be
OK with you and your family. To a man better known as Mr. Stunu big thanks to you for your
effort. To you the ones who attended this event, thanks to you we know that you were
satisfied because of all the good comment and feedback from you the people. Everything we
do will be for the benefit of our people. We will not let you down. We know that there
will be obstacles set before us, it's common every time you try to do something
good but if we HARAMBE (African word for working together) others will have to follow. So,
keep the faith only with Love and Unity we can build a better nation.

We know you all enjoyed being in Bluefields. Last but not least to the Old Bank Youth
"OBAYOM" thank you for the great performance and keep in mind that SLC, Inc is
committed to working with you the youth of Bluefields because you are our future. Stay in
school and stay away from drugs. We need a strong youth to lead our nation.
Finally I would like to leave with you these words of inspiration.
